We have extensive knowledge and years of experience providing the immediate care of sports injuries as well as training athletic patients for conditioning and optimal performance.
Neurologic Physical Therapy

Do you have a chronic neurological disease and still want to improve your functional mobility?
Are you suffering from constant pain or severe muscle tightness associated with your condition?
Rehabilitation should start as soon as possibly after the diagnosis of neurological disorder. Our philosophy of neurorehabilitation emphasizes patient education and self-management based on goal-oriented community rehabilitation perspective to improve the patient participation in social relations and the quality of life. Our therapists have been working with patients with a wide range of disorders such as Stroke, Spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, and Multiple sclerosis to achieve those goals.

Do you require assistance from a caregiver to perform basic activities of daily living, such as bathing, transfers, or walking?
Do you need guidance to manage your chronic arthritis pain?
Do you still want to build physical activity into your everyday life and be engaged with your family and community?
The quality of life in older adults depends largely on being able to continue to do what you want, without pain, for as long as possible. Each year, about 1 in 3 persons older than 65 years fall, experiencing functional decline in the ability to care for oneself and to participate in social and physical activities. With geriatric patients, our therapists pay special attention to evaluation of people at fall risk and multifactorial interventions to help maintain or improve their functional mobility and independence.

Occupational therapy (OT) focuses on self-care activities and improvement of fine/gross motor coordination, particularly in the upper extremities. Whether hand dysfunction has resulted from normal aging, an injury, or a neurological injury, we provide comprehensive rehabilitation for basic activities of daily living that serves as the cornerstone of independent living. Our therapists may also assess home and work environment to make recommendations and ensure safety in patients' everyday activities.

An injury prevention and ergonomic optimization in the workplace is the integral part of decreasing the injury incidence and severity rates as well as enhancing the employee health and productivity. Our therapists thoroughly analyze the physical demands placed on the workers and provide for a smooth and safe means of returning injured workers to the job. Through one-on-one education and training, workers will be able to demonstrate the best use of available equipment, tools, and methods of task performance.
Balance and Vestibular Rehabilitation
Are you afraid of falling, or finding yourself losing your balance?
Have you experienced the sensation of the world spinning or moving around you?
Do you or your family members notice your balance getting worse?
Dizziness and/or imbalance are among the most common complaints adults report. Vestibular (inner ear) dysfunction or proprioception (joints of the lower limb) impairment as a cause of these symptoms especially offers an intricate challenge due to their complexity and severity. Our therapists have been successful in accurately diagnosing balance system disorders and treating them with patience as we all know that it can be quite frustrating and affect the quality of life significantly. We also treat BPPV (a type of vertigo) with excellent results.

Do you need a knee brace for your knee osteoarthritis or an ankle-foot orthosis for your foot drop?
To ensure that the most suitable device is obtained for the patient, our therapists work closely with qualified rehabilitation technology suppliers and family members, contributing together to the examination report and the letter of medical necessity. Once the device is supplied, we are also responsible for adjusting and fitting the final device, as well as teaching the patient and family members/caregivers how to use and maintain the device to ensure optimal long-term performance.
Home Health PT/OT
Were you just discharged from the hospital after surgery and need help with recovery at home?
Do you have concerns about your ability to carry on daily activities in the home safely?

Physical and Occupational therapists play an essential role in an interdisciplinary home healthcare team that helps patients recover function after an injury or surgery. Just as in the clinic, our therapists will perform an evaluation during their first visit and establish an individualized plan of care to achieve your specific goals and optimize function.
